October 15, 2025 – Lee Health Foundation is proud to announce the 2026 board of trustees. Returning trustee Dominic Cameratta has been appointed to serve as chair.
Cameratta is chief financial officer and co-owner of his family company Cameratta Companies, a full-service real estate development company in Southwest Florida. Cameratta oversees all financial aspects of Cameratta Companies including financial processes, financial reporting, deal financing, and tax planning. He is a graduate of Boston College Carrol School of Management and also serves on the board of trustees for Canterbury School Fort Myers.
The board of trustees helps guide philanthropic initiatives for Lee Health Foundation. Since 1995, Lee Health Foundation, its supporters, and trustees have made it possible for Lee Health to serve a growing community with comprehensive medical services close to home.
“Each of our trustees plays a vital role in shaping the future of Lee Health,” said Chris Simoneau, chief development, marketing, and communications officer for Lee Health. “Their strategic insight and dedication will help us expand our impact and continue building a stronger, healthier community for years to come.”
The board’s officers include Jenny Gezella of Naples who will be serving as vice chair, Bill Cronin of Cape Coral as treasurer, and Gary Price of Naples as secretary.
Newly appointed trustees are Dr. Mark Bloomston, Pason Gaddis, Dr. Gurpal “Gigi” Jones, Monica Luna, Melva McKay-Bass, and Samantha Sheridan.
Returning trustees are David Call, Ryan D. Carter, Richard Forman, Garrett Richter, Onur Haytac, Chetan Gulati, Jennifer “JJ” McCurry, Fred Pezeshkan, all of Naples. Also serving are Jospeh R. Catti, Susan Chicone, and Sandy Stilwell Youngquist of Fort Myers, Kristin Haag of Cape Coral, Brian Rist and Dr. Brett Shannon of Sanibel, Debbie Toler and Ian Schmoyer of Bonita Springs, and Joshua Dorcey of Alva.
Ex-officio trustees are Dr. Larry Antonucci, Lee Health president and CEO; David Klein, Chair of the Lee Health System Board; Margaret Embroli, Cape Coral Hospital Auxiliary president; Gary Gold, Gulf Coast Medical Center Auxiliary president; and Jerry Sushil, Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary president. The board’s emeriti committee includes Amanda Cross, Dorothy Fitzgerald, Joe Gammons, Elaine Hawkins, Dr. James W. Orr Jr., and Garrett Reasoner.
