June12, 2026 — Lee Health is proud to be named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care for 2026, earning national recognition for its commitment to creating a positive, supportive and engaging work environment for its team members. The distinction, awarded in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, highlights organizations that excel in employee well-being, strong leadership, fair compensation and work-life balance. This is the second consecutive year Lee Health has achieved this milestone.
The recognition reflects Lee Health’s continued focus on fostering a culture where employees feel valued, empowered and connected to the mission of caring for the Southwest Florida community.
Research consistently shows that engaged employees play a critical role in organizational success. According to Gallup survey data, engaged employees—those who are highly involved and enthusiastic about their work and workplace—can drive profitability by 23 percent, productivity by 14 percent and sales by 18 percent.

The rankings were determined using a combination of publicly available data and a confidential nationwide employee survey. The large-scale survey was conducted between April 2025 and October 2025 and collected more than 400,000 company reviews from over 100,000 employees who worked in or were familiar with organizations in the healthcare sector.
In addition, data from three earlier studies conducted between 2022 and 2024—encompassing more than 460,000 reviews and 168,000 interviews—were incorporated with reduced weighting to provide a comprehensive view of workplace performance. Only employers with more than 1,000 employees were eligible for consideration in the 2026 rankings.
Lee Health was also named as one of the Best Places to Work in SWFL in 2026 by Gulfshore Business Magazine.
