New outpatient center will increase access to care for the south Lee County community

May 15, 2023 —Lee Health is pleased to announce the opening of the Lee Health University Highlands Outpatient Center.

Located at 19511 Highland Oaks Drive in Estero, the new convenient and comprehensive care center will be able to offer community members and visitors easier access to medical services in south Lee County.

The 20,820-square-foot building, which is near the intersection of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and Grande Oaks Boulevard in Estero, will provide access to high-quality, full spectrum family medicine care, outpatient imaging and lab services, and an adult rehabilitation center.

Multiple clinical services will be co-located into one comprehensive service facility. The first floor includes a physical therapy clinic, lab draw station, and diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays, ultrasounds, Dexa bone scans, mammograms, and more. The second floor will be home to family medicine and will include 16 exam rooms and a procedure room.

“We are pleased to increase access to vital health care services for the south Lee County community,” said Kris Fay, Lee Health’s chief officer of community based care. “Now, Bonita Springs and Estero residents will have more options for high-quality medical care. The new University Highlands center will provide convenient access to care for families and allows for optimal care integration via the Lee Health electronic medical record.”
