Leonard Feld, MD, PhD, MMM, has been appointed President of Pediatric Specialists of America, the newly created entity representing the more than 200 employed physicians of Miami Children’s Health System.

 

He brings to the position more than 35 years of experience in pediatric medical practice, medical research and teaching, and healthcare leadership. Dr. Feld most recently served as Senior Medical Director of the Pediatric Specialists of the Carolinas Healthcare System Medical Group and Senior Academic Chair of Pediatrics for Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has also served as Chief Medical Officer and Endowed Chair in Pediatrics at Levine Children’s Hospital, also in Charlotte. He had a longstanding academic practice in pediatric nephrology in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.
