Cardiologist Luis Augsten, M.D., FACC, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group. Dr. Augsten specializes in invasive diagnostic cardiology and is affiliated with Baptist Hospital, Fishermen’s Community Hospital, Mariners Hospital and South Miami Hospital.
Dr. Augsten is Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He received his medical degree from Universidad de Valencia, Facultad De Medicina, in Valencia, Spain. Following medical school, he completed a one-year rotating internship at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. He also completed residencies in family medicine and internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology during his six years of postdoctoral training at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL.
