Three of the leading energy solutions providers in South Florida announced that they have formed a strategic partnership to deliver complete lighting retrofit projects to commercial customers throughout the U.S. Lumenor Energy Services is a lighting retrofit company that has been providing lighting solutions with guaranteed reductions in energy usage.

According to principal Jim Rasche, a well-known general contractor in the South Florida construction market, “We are so confident we can save our customers money, that we are spending our own money to prove it. Our cutting edge technology and lighting retrofit program ensures that the amount of money our customer spends on a retrofit will not exceed the energy savings … or we make up the difference.”

Project Caine, a professional engineering firm offering mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services that was formed in 2005 by a former partner in the largest mechanical and electrical engineering firm in Florida, will provide lighting design assistance and photometric studies for the team’s projects. Project Caine’s owner, Bob Caine, said that “My objective has always been to provide quality work that’s extremely responsive to our client’s needs. Since those are values shared by both Lumenor and Sustainable Performance Solutions, we’re confident of our ability to satisfy the most demanding customer requirements.”

“Since you can’t manage what you can’t measure, accurate metering and sub-metering is vital to these projects. Not only do we validate the savings achieved by the retrofits, using technology fully adherent to the International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IPMVP),we ensure that the building owners continue to be able to track their energy efficiency long after we’re out of there,” said Larry Clark, principal of Sustainable Performance Solutions.

Projects will include both fluorescent and advanced-technology LED lighting retrofits in commercial, industrial and institutional facilities throughout North America and the Caribbean.
