April 19, 2023 –Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health Cancer Care, has begun treating its first patients with the ViewRay MR-Guided® Radiation Therapy System. The Lynn Cancer Institute becomes one of only three cancer centers in South Florida offering this novel technology. This is the second ViewRay MR-Guided® Radiation Therapy System in the Baptist Health Cancer Care system, with the Miami Cancer Institute treating patients since 2018.LCI Team with MRIdian in Delray Beach

Lynn Cancer Institute, based at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, is one of the largest cancer centers in South Florida and is accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons. The Lynn Cancer Institute treats an estimated 4,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients each year with multimodality teams who specialize in a specific site of cancer. The cancer team provides the highest level of care for each specific disease site, by utilizing the most advanced technology and treatments available.

The coordination of care will be executed by Youssef Zeidan, M.D., PhD and Hina Saeed, M.D. , radiation oncologists with Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute.
