Maggie Wiegandt was recently named to the position of Vice President of Oncology Services for Memorial Healthcare Systems.

Wiegandt joined the organization in 2003 as an administrative fellow and in 2004 joined the administrative team at Memorial Hospital Miramar during the startup phase of the hospital, which later opened in 2005. At Memorial Hospital Miramar, she was responsible for ancillary and support services in addition to developing marketing programs to promote new lines of services using Internet technology.

 

This year, Wiegandt joined the administrative team at Memorial Regional Hospital, where she has been instrumental in developing physician recruitment and business development initiatives. Wiegandt earned her Bachelor of Science in Visual Disabilities/Minors in Chemistry and Biology from Florida State University and a Master of Healthcare Administration/Master in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
