Manny Linares Named CEO of North Shore Medical Center

Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s South Florida hospital network in Miami-Dade/Broward recently announced that Manny Linares has been named chief executive officer at North Shore Medical Center. Linares had been chief operating officer at North Shore Medical Center since 2003.

Linares is an accomplished hospital administrator with a comprehensive working knowledge of the marketplace. As COO at North Shore Medical Center, he was responsible for management of a wide range of departments, including the cancer center, rehab services, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging services, respiratory therapy, marketing, engineering/bio-med, nutrition services, environmental services, communications and security. Prior to joining North Shore, Linares was COO at North Ridge Medical Center for 2 years where he managed multiple departments and oversaw all new construction and renovation projects throughout the facility. Before joining NRMC, Linares served for 12 years at Hialeah Hospital in a progression of roles that included associate administrator, vice president of support services and director of engineering. Linares received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in health sciences administration from Florida International University.
