The Medical Staff of Mariners Hospital has selected a new slate of leaders for the next two years. Emergency physician Kenneth Ahonen, M.D., will serve as president; and family practitioner Brian Magrane, M.D., will fill the seat of vice president.
 
Internist Joanne Mahoney, M.D., was elected section-of-medicine chief; and general surgeon Alan Netzman, D.O., was chosen section-of-surgery chief. Cardiologist Abraham Wolfenzon, M.D., was elected member-at-large. Neurologist Elisa Brown-Soltero, M.D., will serve as past president.
