The Martin Memorial Auxiliary has supported health care in Martin and St. Lucie counties for more than five decades. Recently, the Auxiliary pledged to raise $1.5 million for Martin Memorial Health Systems, continuing the volunteer organization’s long-standing commitment to the community.

 

Funds raised will be used to support Martin Memorial’s new hospital in the west Port St. Lucie development of Tradition. Construction on the 82-bed hospital, located on a 20-acre site at the Tradition Center for Innovation, will begin in 2012 and is expected to be completed in 2014.
