November. 3, 2022 – Matt Kahn has been named Senior Director, Philanthropic Services at Community Foundation of Broward.

Kahn will be responsible for growing the assets of the Foundation through outreach to new donors, including Broward residents, LGBTQ community members, business owners and emerging philanthropists.

Kahn will work with members of the Foundation’s Ambassadors Program to build new community contacts and encourage contributions. He will also manage the Foundation’s Legacy Society, including donors who have dedicated a portion of their estates to the program.

Kahn comes to Community Foundation of Broward from Gulf Coast Community Foundation in Venice, Fla., where he served as Philanthropic Advisor. He previously was director of the San Francisco Region of the American Jewish Committee. He was also Associate Director of the Interfaith Relations Department of the Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston, Texas.

Kahn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, La., and a dual master’s degree from Hebrew Union College, the Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem, Israel and Los Angeles, Calif.
