- 8th Annual Total Heart Symposium (Saturday, February 15, 2025; Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center) / This event will feature presentations from Memorial clinicians on topics specific to adult congenital heart disease, heart transplantation, and heart failure care. CEUs, CMEs, and CEPTCs will be offered for MD, APP, RN, RT, Clinical Exercise Physiologists, and Pharm D. - Memorial Healthcare System & UPMC Procirca Winter Adult ECMO Academy (Thursday, February 20-Friday, February 21, 2025; Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center) / This simulation course is designed for the bedside ECMO caregiver, including physicians, physician assistants, perfusionists, nurses, nurse practitioners, ECMO specialists, and respiratory therapists. It will offer high-fidelity simulation training that provides a well-rounded look at caring for an adult ECMO patient. Attendees will troubleshoot ECMO scenarios while learning cannulation techniques. - Cardiovascular Symposium (Friday, February 28-Saturday, March 1, 2025; Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center) / This event will provide actionable information about emerging trends in cardiovascular medicine. It will focus on the prevention and treatment of hypertension and dyslipidemias, stable and unstable CAD, atrial fibrillation and PVC-induced cardiomyopathy, advanced heart failure, cardio oncology, cardio obesity, vascular disease, catheter-based interventions, and adult congenital heart disease.
