Shane Strum, who has extensive experience in a variety of industries from government to higher education and healthcare, has recently joined Memorial Healthcare System’s executive staff as a senior vice president.

 

Prior to joining Memorial, Strum was Vice Chancellor of Business Development for Keiser University following a tenure in government, which included serving as Transition Advisor in the administration of Florida Governor Rick Scott and as Chief of Staff to Florida Governor Charlie Crist. Strum also served as a Member and Chairman of the South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners from 2001 through 2009.

 

His diverse and successful experience in the private and public sectors also includes serving as Director of Corporate and Government Affairs for Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and Director of Business Development for Blue Frog Solutions, Inc.
