These affiliations will allow qualified students enrolled at each of the university’s medical school programs to receive clinical training from Memorial’s physicians within a variety of specialties, including pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine, behavioral medicine and palliative care, among others.

 

The agreement also calls for the universities to maintain accreditation of their medical education program and for ensuring that all students involved in the training have completed specific requirements, including HIPAA instruction. The terms of the affiliations are scheduled to last anywhere between three to 10 years.
