True to its community commitment, Memorial Healthcare System has a long history of providing programs that offer access to primary care services for the uninsured, help target at-risk children and assist teens in turning their lives around through counseling and intervention, and many other initiatives. This year, the Florida Hospital Association has awarded the Celebration of Service Award for Community Benefit to Memorial Healthcare System to recognize its unwavering dedication to enhancing the health of the communities it serves.

The Celebration of Service Awards annually recognize leaders in healthcare who have contributed to the mission of providing quality healthcare for the people of Florida. The awards honor the highest achievements in patient care, community commitment and employee satisfaction. The Community Benefit Award honors hospitals that have distinguished themselves in improving the health and well-being of their communities.

In the past decade, Memorial Healthcare System has been the recipient of other community awards, including the American Hospital Association’s inaugural Living the Vision Award and the coveted Foster G. McGaw award for community service.
