At a recent Open House where more than 150 hospital employees from across the nation were in attendance, leaders from Memorial Hospital Pembroke shared a winning recipe. This one has made them a “top performer” for two consecutive years in a national pay for performance project run by Premier Inc. healthcare alliance and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Results for third year performance will be released in early 2008, and preliminary numbers indicate that Memorial Hospital Pembroke may continue its winning streak as one of the top hospitals recognized for their on-going commitment to quality patient care.

“This recognition is a testament of the commitment to quality care and the culture of safety that our entire administrative and medical team embraces and provides our patients on a daily-basis,” said Martha Garcia, administrator, Memorial Hospital Pembroke.
