Ask some of those who know her best and you’ll hear that Shea Peddy embodies many of the characteristics that make nurses impactful. It begins with a focus on providing safe, high-quality care to patients, which includes significant amounts of empathy and compassion, during some of their most difficult times. Peddy is a critical thinker, resilient, and able to bring a calming presence to stressful situations.

An important part of a telemetry unit, Peddy is also an effective communicator that makes sure patients understand their plan of care. She advocates for them and works closely with multi-disciplinary teams to meet needs in a timely manner. A true team player, Peddy has more recently developed leadership skills as a charge nurse and is currently pursuing her clinical ladder to foster additional growth.
