Mercy Hospital announced the opening of their Behavioral Health Unit. The 32 bed unit will offer adult and geriatric acute inpatient psychiatric care in a safe and comfortable environment and will treat a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses with associated medical conditions.

 

The Behavioral Health program will provide patients with both individual and group therapy programs. This program encourages patients and families to actively participate in both the planning and implementation of the treatment, including post discharge follow-up and aftercare.
