January 4, 2023 – Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, today announced the Fourth Annual Global Summit on Immunotherapies for Hematologic Malignancies, to be held March 10-11, 2023, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Coconut Grove, Miami, Fla. The educational summit has been designed to provide an overview of the most recent advances in the treatment of leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplantation through novel immunotherapies and treatment combinations. In addition, updates on evolving immunologically and molecular-based system therapies will be profiled and discussed.

At the Global Summit, speakers from the nation’s leading cancer centers will present on the evolving therapeutic strategies in the treatment of hematologic malignancies and provide an update of new molecular and immunological treatments that are being developed for these diseases. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the rationale for new targeted diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia, and review the role and timing of hematopoietic cell transplantation and potential combinations of immunotherapeutic treatment options.
The educational summit is directed toward hematologists, oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, palliative care staff, oncology and hematology nurses, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and other allied health care team members interested in the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies. Baptist Health South Florida is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Baptist Health has been re-surveyed by the ACCME and awarded Commendation for 6 years as a provider of CME for physicians. Participants of the Precision Medicine Symposium will be able to claim CME credits when attending the symposium.
