Miami Jewish Health Systems (MJHS) announces the addition of Sharon Pontious, Ph.D., and Marc Lippman, M.D., to its board of directors.

 

Sharon Pontious, Ph.D., is interim dean and professor of Florida International University’s College of Nursing and Health Services. She has held a number of other administrative and academic roles at the College and other academic institutions during a decades-long career highlighted by dozens of presentations, articles, and other publications. She is on the board of directors of the United Home Care and the advisory board for the Haitian-American Nurses Association, and a board member of the South Florida Nursing Consortium.

 

Dr. Marc Lippman currently serves in a range of administrative and academic roles for local educational and clinical institutions. He is a tenured professor of medicine and chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, as well as deputy director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
