Miami Jewish Health Systems has recently promoted Jackelyn “Jackie” Perera to Director of Revenue and James J. Deane, CPA, to Director of Accounting.

 

Perera brings more than 30 years of revenue management experience in the healthcare industry to the position, and will be responsible for Miami Jewish Health Systems claims, billing and collections.

 

She joined Miami Jewish Health Systems in 2013 as Manager of Revenue Application and Analysis. Prior to that, Perera worked at Miami Children’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital.

 

Deane brings more than 15 years of accounting and finance expertise to this position, having previously worked with professional accounting firms, large multinational enterprises and other healthcare entities.

 

He first joined Miami Jewish Health Systems Finance Department in 2010. Prior to that, Deane worked at Kaufman Rossin & Co., Berkowitz Dick Pollack and Brandt, Seaboard Marine, Electrolux Home Products International and Arthur Andersen.
