Mike Birdsong has been named Chief Information Officer at Health Choice Network (HCN).

 

Birdsong has served as Chief Technology Officer since joining HCN in 2011 and will now oversee CIO services for 45 health centers in 13 states.

 

Birdsong will lead a 60-member team providing implementation of certified electronic health records, customer training and support, business intelligence, clinical informatics and meaningful use, revenue cycle management and a wide range of comprehensive CIO and CFO services. Prior to coming to HCN, Birdsong most recently was Vice President of Corporate Information Technology at Genesis Networks.
