December 6, 2022 – Miles for Migraine, a 501(c)(3) organization, will hold its second annual race in Miami’s Tropical Park. The event is a timed 5K run and 2 Mile Walk beginning at 8:30AM.
All ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Awards will be distributed for the first three finishers in both male and female categories. To register, visit www.milesformigraine.org.
There is a Treasure Hunt for kids called, “Map the Migraine” which is FREE and kids will win prizes for participation.

“I am involved with Miles for Migraine because I know from my own experiences how much chronic migraine dominates your life,” says Shirley Kessel, executive director, from Boca Raton. “We need to find treatments that everyone can access so that people with migraine can take back their lives.”
There are currently walk/runs in 24 cities in the US.
University Of Miami Headache Fellowship program was the recipient of a $16,000 donation from Miles for Migraine in 2021.
Since 2008, Miles for Migraine has given grants in the amount of $2,230,439 to headache fellowship programs to help alleviate the physician shortage and increase research. All funds raised will benefit local migraine and headache research and fellowship training programs at the University of Miami Headache Center.
