Lucy Levin, RN, goes above and beyond in her role, making sure every patient feels at home. Originally from New York, Lucy graduated with a degree in nursing from the University of Miami in 2024 and started working at Mount Sinai Medical Center shortly thereafter. Her vocation to nursing began when she attended a health fair and had the opportunity to speak with many healthcare professionals.
In just seven months of working at Mount Sinai, Lucy has already earned a DAISY Award for her exceptional care in helping a patient recover from a 19-day infection. The DAISY Award is a prestigious recognition program that honors nurses across the country through nominations from patients, families, and colleagues whose lives they’ve touched. Over 4,000 hospitals nationwide participate in program, with Lucy being one of the deserving recipients.
Her attentiveness to patients’ needs, ability to complete tasks efficiently, excellent communication skills, and innate kindness are qualities that make her stand out. Lucy’s commitment to making patients feel seen, safe, and heard, combined with her determination to ensure they experience a speedy and positive recovery, truly defines her as an outstanding nurse.
Since coming to Mount Sinai, Lucy has quickly become a valued member of the team. Her dedication to both her patients and her colleagues reflects the high standards she holds herself to in her career.
