Mount Sinai Medical Center welcomes Diana Salinas as its new Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer.With 14 years of experience overseeing daily compliance functions pertaining to health care regulations, Salinas has developed several effective compliance, ethics and privacy programs. She most recently held the position of Chief Compliance, Ethics and Privacy Officer at Fremont Rideout Health Group in Yuba City, CA. Prior to that, she was with Jackson Health System where she began as the Baker Act Compliance Officer in 2002 before being promoted to Director of Compliance and Privacy in 2006, and Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer in 2009.
Salinas is certified in Healthcare Compliance by the Healthcare Compliance Association and is a member of the State Bar Association of Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001 where she received her Juris Doctor degree, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from FIU in 1989.
