Mount Sinai Medical Center welcomes Dr. Philip Bao, the newest member of its surgical oncology team.

 

Dr. Bao earned his medical degree at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine – City University of New York (CUNY). He then completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Bao completed surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pennsylvania.

 

Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Bao served as an assistant professor of surgical oncology at Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York since 2009.
