March 5, 2025 NCH is proud to announce the opening of its newly relocated Outpatient Infusion Center now serving patients at 681 4th Ave. This expansion is made possible by a generous foundational gift from philanthropists Jim and Fran McGlothlin, whose support ensures that cancer patients and others requiring infusion therapy can continue receiving world-class care in a state-of-the-art facility.
The new $5 Million Outpatient Infusion Center replaces the former location at the Telford Center, which is being removed to make way for NCH’s highly anticipated R.M. Schulze Family Heart and Stroke Critical Care Center. The infusion center’s relocation aligns with NCH’s broader commitment to expanding oncology services, including a growing collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, one of the nation’s leading academic healthcare institutions.
“This new center is a direct reflection of NCH’s commitment to providing advanced, patient-centered care,” said Paul Hiltz, President and CEO of NCH. “Thanks to the generosity of Jim and Fran McGlothlin, we are able to expand our infusion services in a modern facility that enhances comfort, accessibility, and quality of care. This is a significant milestone as we continue to grow our oncology services in collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, ensuring that patients in Southwest Florida have access to top-tier cancer treatment close to home.”
The Outpatient Infusion Center offers a full range of infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other critical treatments for patients battling cancer and chronic illnesses. Designed with patient comfort and care in mind, the new space features an expanded number of infusion bays, private treatment areas, and the latest infusion technology to enhance the patient experience.
This move is a key step in NCH’s long-term vision to expand comprehensive oncology services, ensuring that the Naples community has access to the most advanced treatments available, only possible through philanthropic support. The collaboration with Northwestern Medicine will further elevate the level of cancer care at NCH, bringing cutting-edge research, clinical trials, and innovative therapies to local patients.
