Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce Anthony Alvarado-Ortiz, D.O., a neuro-interventional fellow has joined Advanced Neuroscience Network Physicians (ANNP) and joined the practice of Dr. Ritesh Kaushal, National Stroke Medical Director for Tenet Healthcare, interventional neurologist located in Hialeah, FL. Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. As an interventional neurologist, Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz specializes in stroke, neurocritical care and endovascular intervention. He is on staff at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL.
Prior to joining ANNP, Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz completed a neurovascular fellowship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz finished his residency at Larkin Community Hospital, Miami. Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz graduated medical school from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, New York, NY.
Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz served as an HCA Network and Tulane University School of Medicine assistant professor in neurology, neuro-tele and neuro-electrophysiology at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans and Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. In addition, Dr. Alvarado-Ortiz worked at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, as a general physician and resident neurologist.
