Fernando Martinez has been selected Information Technology and Data Security Officer for the North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) and Tony Ruiz has been named the new Director of Information Services Project Management for the NBHD.

Prior to joining the NBHD, Martinez was the Chief Information Technology Officer at Mercy Hospital in Miami. His background also includes an engagement with the Cayman Islands Ministry of Health where he was Chief Information Officer.

Ruiz joined the NBHD in 1993 as systems analyst, and was later promoted as manager for Clinical System Support.
