Westside Regional Medical Center (WRMC) is pleased to announce the appointments of Lee B. Chaykin as CEO, Kathleen Morris as VP of Regulatory Compliance, and Tim O’Brien as the Facility’s Assistant Administrator.
 
Chaykin has more than 22 years of healthcare finance and management experience, and has been with HCA for the past 20 years. He comes to Westside from Kendall Regional Medical Center where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his most recent position, Chaykin was at University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac where he had also served as the CEO since 2007.
 
Most recently Morris served as HCA – East Florida Division’s Ethics and Compliance Officer. Previous to this experience she was the VP of Quality Management at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura for 13 years. Morris was also the Director of Quality Management for Miami Heart Institute in Miami Beach for two years. Prior to her time at Miami Heart she held the position of Administrative Director of Quality Management for St. Mary’s and Good Samaritan Hospitals in Palm Beach for over nine years.
 
O’Brien began his career in healthcare with Arthur Anderson Business Consulting as a Healthcare Consultant in 1999. By 2002 he had been promoted to the position of Senior Healthcare Consultant with the firm. From 2002 to 2006 O’Brien worked as a Manger for Navigant Consulting. He started with HCA in 2006 as a Director of the Company’s Strategic Resource Group (SRG). In 2010 he was promoted to the Senior Director position at SRG.
