Douglas Ford, M.D., was recently elected chief of staff for Broward Health North Broward Medical Center (NBMC).

Ford, an anesthesiologist, has been an active medical staff member at North Broward Medical Center since 1990. He served as the vice chief of staff from 2009-2011 and chief of surgery 2006-2008. He has served on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee, credentials and qualifications committee, multidisciplinary trauma and peer review committee.
