Ernest N. Shwayri, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been appointed Chief of Surgery at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

 

Dr. Shwayri has been a staff general surgeon at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center since the hospital’s start up in June 1995. Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Shwayri is in the Guide to America’s Top Surgeons. He serves as Associate in Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and he is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
