A new Lee Convenient Care and Lee Physician Group (LPG) multi-specialty practices are planned to open next year on Metro Parkway, near Gulf Coast Medical Center. Lee Health Board of Directors approved a lease with Metro-Daniels (North Parcel) Investors, LLC, for 40,000 square feet of space in a new facility to be constructed and ready for occupancy in the fall of 2017.
Housing the fourth Lee Convenient Care location in Lee County, the new facility will provide urgent care services as an alternative to the emergency department for treatment of non-life threatening injury or illness with the expertise of skilled physicians in a state-of-the-art clinic.
In addition to Convenient Care, other specialist offices and cardiology testing services will be housed in the building including Cardiology, Infectious Disease and others to be determined.
