Boca Raton Community Hospital announces the appointment of George K. Daniel, M.D., and Jacy Villa, Jr, M.D., to the hospitals medical staff.
Dr. Daniel completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship training at Krannert Institute of Cardiology /Indiana University School of Medicine where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. He was then selected to be the first fellow in vascular and endovascular medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Villa attended medical school at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He completed his internship and residency programs at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY. He completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD.
