An 18-year veteran of Kids In Distress of Broward and Palm Beach Counties (KID) has been named President/CEO of the organization.

 

Mark Dhooge is a social services professional, advocate for issues involving children’s services and community collaborator who has served the children and families of South Florida through his more than 18 years with KID, most recently as Chief Operations Officer.

 

Among his professional and community affiliations, Dhooge is a member of the Broward County Children’s Strategic Plan Leadership Committee, FAU Social Work Advisory Council, Broward Victims Rights Coalition, Kinship Advisory Council, Broward Non-Profit Chamber and Healthy Families Advisory Council.
