January 23, 2025 – We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ngozi F. Anachebe has joined the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as an academic administrator in the Dean’s office. She will see patients at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice on FIU’s main campus, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while contributing to the development of future medical professionals.

Dr. Anachebe brings a wealth of experience in both clinical and academic medicine. She previously served as the inaugural vice dean for Educational Affairs and chief academic affairs officer at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she was also an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before that, she held key leadership roles at Morehouse School of Medicine, including senior associate dean for Admissions and Student Affairs and associate dean for Undergraduate Medical Education.

Dr. Anachebe earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy.
