Broward Health North Broward Medical Center’s Marcia Davis, RN, MSN, ARNP, CMSRN, was named the regional winner of the management category at the 2007 Nursing Spectrum Excellence Awards gala. Davis, who is the nurse manager of the Special Medical Care Unit, was honored alongside five Florida nurses for her leadership and commitment to the nursing profession.

Davis is known by her peers and staff for her financial and problem-solving skills, her resourcefulness, compassion, and guidance. She mentors nursing school students, teaches several sections of the medical/surgical certification review course and founded North Broward’s trends and research committee.
