North Shore Medical Center celebrates the reopening of its newly remodeled Senior Care Unit. To accommodate the needs of the aging community, the unit now includes private patient rooms with slip resistant wood flooring, special beds, an activity room, a spacious family room and soft lighting.
The unit is designed to provide a soothing and familiar environment for patients. Additionally, it features a multidisciplinary team that consists of board-certified physicians, registered nurses, therapists, pharmacists, dieticians and case managers.
