Northwest Medical Center (NWMC) announces the appointment of Richard J. Brietstein, D.P.M., as Director of Podiatric Medical Education for its Podiatric Residency Program and Neil H. Strauss, D.P.M., as Assistant Director.

Dr. Brietstein has been a member of the NWMC medical staff since 1996. He is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland. He completed his Rotating Internship at Nassau County Medical Center in 1992 and Residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Northlake Community Hospital, Northlake , IL, Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL and Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL.

Dr. Strauss has been a member of the NWMC medical staff since 2007. He is a graduate of Barry University. He completed his Residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Westchester General Hospital, Miami in 2005.
