Laura Herrera, R.N., B.S.N., is a passionate robotics coordinator at Broward Health Coral Springs.
For 18 years, Herrera has risen through the healthcare ranks. She started her career as a surgical technologist in 2005, and while working as a scrub tech, she completed her associate degree in nursing at Broward College.
“It’s a rewarding experience to see that my patients are safe under my care,” Herrera said.” It’s also gratifying to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with those who are starting their journey in this field.”
Herrera is responsible for overseeing the supply management, equipment availability and functionality and the daily operations of the robotics service line at the 250-bed hospital.
Herrera is a proven dedicated nurse inspired by her faith and family. “God has equipped me to demonstrate His love to others by attending to their needs,” Herrera said.
Herrera earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Broward College.
