Kimberly Oakman, R.N., is the assistant nurse manager of surgery and cardiovascular surgery coordinator at Broward Health Medical Center.

Oakman is a devoted nurse who has worked at Broward Health’s flagship hospital for more than 25 years. She enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams that collaborate to provide high-quality care to our South Florida community and beyond.

“I’m motivated by the teamwork and dedication of my coworkers, who are committed to achieving optimal patient outcomes,” Oakman said. “I love hearing success stories from our patients who we have cared for here at Broward Health.”

Oakman’s can-do attitude and leadership have led her to manage more than 20 surgical rooms and 150 staff members. She finds great satisfaction in knowing that she contributed to making a lasting impact on a patient’s life.

“I love to take care of people,” Oakman said. “It’s a very enriching experience.”

Oakman holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Broward College.
