Marlin Wehbe, APRN, Family Nurse Practitioner at West Kendall Conviva and Tamiami Conviva, always knew nursing was her destiny.
Caring for others came naturally to the Dominican Republic-native, as both parents are doctors. Hard work, passion and dedication to senior patient care makes Marlin a truly outstanding nurse and a woman who strives to reach her full potential.
She earned dual bachelor’s degrees (Biology and Nursing), a master’s degree and is pursuing a Doctorate degree.
“I could have followed in my parents’ footsteps, but I sought a more holistic approach,” she said. “I wanted to stay at a patient’s bedside and care for them longer. I wanted to nurture them. A nurse’s heart is different. I love my patients. They are family.”
Marlin assists in the breast cancer and HIV communities, volunteers at a local animal shelter, chairs Conviva’s Mentorship for Nurses committee, and serves on Conviva’s Advanced Practice Provider Steering Council.
