Oviedo, Fla. – November 15, 2024 – Oviedo Medical Center, part of HCA Florida Healthcare, announces Elliott Lovett as the hospital’s new chief financial officer.
Lovett, who began his new role last month, previously served as assistant chief financial officer at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. During his tenure, Lovett was responsible for managing labor, length of stay, expenses and capital asset distribution for the $212 million EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) system. He also served as a staff accountant at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, and has more than a decade of leadership experience across multiple industries in prior roles.
Lovett received his Master of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. He is currently participating in HCA Healthcare’s Executive Development program with an expected completion date of March 2025.
