Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center were recently recognized by the Palm Beach Gardens City Council for their outstanding work partnering with Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue for Stroke Awareness Month in May. By working together, the hospitals, fire rescue and community partners provided education and performed 465 stroke risk assessments for the public at the Palm Beach Gardens Green Market. The hospitals also hosted a lecture with a panel of stroke experts to teach the community about the signs, symptoms and treatments offered for stroke patients.
