Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC) is pleased to announce it has been designated as an Aetna Institute of Quality® orthopedic facility for total joint replacement and spine surgery.

A facility earns IOQ status by consistently delivering safe, effective care. Aetna makes information about the quality and cost of that care available to its members. This helps them identify facilities that meet their special health care needs.

PBGMC has invested heavily in some of the latest orthopedic medicine technologies including surgical robots, which can help improve patient outcomes, reduce recovery time and minimize complications. This year alone, we achieved two major surgical milestones: 500th Mako SmartRobotics™ procedures in under two years and our 100th ROSA® Robotics Knee System surgery in less than a year.
