Employee of the Quarter: Deirdre Thompson

Deirdre is an Echocardiogram Tech in the cardiopulmonary program.  Deidre is known as a true professional who is extremely attentive to any patient being treated at the hospital. 

 

 

Physician of the Quarter: Dr. Richard Faro 

As one of the longest tenured surgeons at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Dr. Faro is also credited with performing the first open heart surgery at the hospital over 35 years ago. He is known not only as an accomplished surgeon but always willing to go above and beyond to help and teach other physicians and medical staff members. 

 

 

DAISY Award Winner for the Quarter: Anya Kaulesar, RN 

Anya is considered a compassionate and caring nurse by her peers and wants to create a nurturing relationship with her patients.  She is always looking to learn and become better than she was the day the before.   DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System.  The award recognizes extraordinary nurses and was established by the DAISY foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died from an auto-immune disease.
