November 8, 2024-Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center names Marko Serrano to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Serrano will oversee the hospital’s financial operations.
Most recently, Serrano served as Delray Medical Center’s Assistant Chief Financial Officer and Group Assistant Chief Financial Officer for the Palm Beach Health Network. Serrano has over 20 years of hospital finance and accounting experience.
“Being able to promote Marko from within, bringing his wealth of institutional and local knowledge adds tremendous value to our hospital,” said Erik Cazares, the hospital’s CEO. “We look forward to having Marko continue his track record of success in healthcare finances.”
In addition to his tenure at Delray, Serrano also served in finance leadership roles at several national healthcare companies.
He received his Healthcare Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University and his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
