Physicians from Palm Beach Health Network celebrated for the care they provide
March 31, 2025 – Palm Beach Health Network is proud to celebrate National Doctors’ Day by recognizing the dedication, skill, and compassion of its physicians. This year’s celebration us especially meaningful as the network prepares to expand its services with the upcoming opening of Florida Coast Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, set to see patients starting in September later this year.
“Our physicians are the cornerstone of healthcare in our growing community, from the Treasure Coast to Palm Beach County and beyond,” said Maggie Gill, Group President for Tenet Healthcare. “On behalf of our Governing Board and employees, I want to express my deepest appreciation for their tireless dedication to improving the health and well-being of our patients. While we strive to show our gratitude every day, Doctors’ Day is a special opportunity to honor their commitment.”
Observed annually on March 30, National Doctors’ Day was established in 1991 when President George H.W. Bush signed a proclamation recognizing the contributions of physicians nationwide. The date also commemorates the first use of general anesthesia in surgery by Dr. Crawford W. Long in 1842.
