August 12, 2026 – Great Place To Work® and PEOPLE magazine have named Baptist Health South Florida as one of the 2026 PEOPLE® Companies that Care. This is Baptist Health’s fourth time being named to the list, this year ranking No. 47. It is the only healthcare system in South Florida on the list, one of only nine hospital systems in the country and one of four companies in Florida to be included. This national recognition reflects Baptist Health’s commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture while making a meaningful impact on its employees, patients and the communities it serves.
The PEOPLE Companies that Care list is based on insights from more than 1.3 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing over 7.3 million employees. The evaluation considers both the quality of workplace culture and the organization’s impact on its community, including charitable giving, employee benefits and initiatives that support employees, their families and the broader environment. Survey results, company-provided data and essay submissions are combined to assess how consistently organizations care for their people and contribute to their communities.
